Housed in a former construction warehouse, it has planted its feet in the Canal Saint-Martin, to the point where its name belies the fact that it is now so much a part of the Parisian alternative scene. Promoting all forms of art in a Berlin setting with hundreds of graffiti, it offers exhibitions, concerts of pop, rock and hip-hop music and techno evenings. As soon as the sun comes out, the Point Ephémère is a hive of activity.

A center for artistic dynamics, Point Ephémère supports young artists and offers an offbeat, trendy program in tune with the times. You'll have no trouble finding it. From the hotel, just take rue de Lancy from the Jacques Bonsergent metro station, which leads straight to Quai de Valmy. Following the Canal Saint-Martin, you should be able to see a flag flying at the side of some sort of turret from quite a distance. It's that of Point Ephémère. If it's green, it means that the rooftop bar, Le Top, is open and ready to welcome you behind its palm trees, on one of its deckchairs.
If it's not, you'll find the lower room open, at water level, and you'll embark on an original meal, a visit to an exhibition or one of those astonishingly original concerts.

Over the weekend, Point Éphémère transforms itself into a club, where you'll be welcome until 2am.
