Our hotel is a stone's throw from Place de la République in the heart of the 10th arrondissement

A major urban, historical and popular crossroads, Place de la République is one of the most emblematic squares in Paris. At its center stands the Monument à la République and its famous bronze relief, inaugurated in 1883. The statue of Marianne, the allegory of France, stands on the precise border of the city's 3rd, 10th and 11th arrondissements, in the extension of rue du Temple, boulevard du Temple, boulevard Voltaire and rue du Faubourg du Temple.

Place de la République: a popular meeting point in Paris

The place de la République is a true rallying point in Paris, and it has its own symbolic significance at concerts, events and political demonstrations. Originally built under the Second Empire, as a continuation of the works of Baron Haussmann, it has undergone many urban and architectural modifications. Renovated in 2013 at the initiative of the city of Paris, it is now entirely for pedestrians.

A hotel ideally located near the Place de la République

The 9Hotel République is thus ideally located, less than 10 minutes from the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est, and very close to the Place de la République and the boulevard Voltaire. It is very easy to get there, either on foot or by public transport from the metro stop Jacques Bonsergent of line 5, which is at the foot of the hotel.
The hotel is also very well located for taking walks along the Canal Saint Martin, which is only a few minutes walk from the 9Hôtel République. Finally, the great advantage of being located near the Place de la République is to have the opportunity to travel very quickly in all areas of Paris, from the many metro lines (3,5,8,9,11) that pass or leave there.
